Article 3
by Arlene Apone
Matthew 5:6. Blessed are
those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.
The
footnote in the Bible defines righteousness as moral conduct in conformity with
God’s will and the fulfillment of prophecy. The saving activity of God is for
all people to submit to His plan for the salvation of the human race.
Matthew 5:9.
Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called
children of God.
Our life
of love as children of God is to pray for peace, to live in peace, and witness
to peace and righteousness. This is God’s plan for all His children, and we are
called to offer our lives each day to this end.
God’s promises are fulfilled in a life given for others. Let us
continue to focus on those involved in wars, those in terrorist sects, and all
the atrocities of those who wage war against humanity in the Kingdom of God.
Not one act of any day is wasted by those who offer their day to
God. Our beloved Father accepts our simple actions as gifts of love, and blesses
our hearts’ desires.
